Renowned metal YouTube personality Jared Dines has teamed up with Aussie handmade guitar luthier Ormsby Guitars to create an 18-string djent monstrosity at NAMM 2018.
The body is made of Tasmanian blackwood and has a stone top making it look like some kind of medieval weapon and it's tuned so low you'd need spare underwear on hand whenever you try playing the thing. Thankfully it has custom Ormsby pickups which keep the tone stupidly heavy along the bottom strings.
Truth be told it looks pretty gimmicky and unplayable, but if anyone can master something like this it'd be Jared, so hopefully we will see some videos of him shredding his life away on it soon.
