Despite what your metal-hating mates say, the rest of us know that the genre can actually be pretty versatile. Take Jared Dines for instance, who has shown us time and time again that rules are just meant to be broken by getting creative with the way metal can be played.
His latest effort uses only a bass guitar (there's drums too, we know) to create a pretty groovy track he's written himself. Turns out Jared is actually quite good with four strings as well as six! Check it out:
Kinda funny how the bass kind of sounds like some actual guitars you'd hear in a djent song at points. Speaking of which, hopefully we can get some more videos with that ridiculous 18 string guitar of his!
