Despite what it may sound like, breakdowns do somewhat vary from genre to genre. Yeah, their sole purpose is to get you to generate power with your arms like a wind turbine, but there are some subtle differences which set them apart.

Jared Dines reckons he's nailed the ten most common types of breakdowns that exist, and we've definitely heard most if not all of them somewhere before. Our personal favourites are the 'Bend Me Over' and the '2009' which are way too accurate. Also, the '2spooky4me' - Emmure, anyone?
