Hell yes - Mastodon dropped a new song called 'Fallen Torches' over the weekend, along with the announcement of a new rarities release called, well, Medium Rarities.
Just like the album's name suggests, Mastodon are gearing up to release a collection of rare tracks digitally for the first time including live performances, covers of Metallica, The Flaming Lips and Butthole Surfers to name a few.
The new track 'Fallen Torches' is absolutely huge, carrying a bit of a throwback to older Mastodon material while keeping Eric Saner's more modern-era vocals intact. Bang your damn head already:
