Remember Jared Dines' ridiculous 18-string guitar from earlier in the year? Turns out that bass extraordinaire/YouTuber Davey504 was doing that shit before it was cool! The same dude that played a bunch of Korn songs on bass using actual corn actually has a video in which he accepts a fan's challenge of soloing on a 24-string bass guitar and proceeds to pull out a green hulk of a bass guitar with no less than - wait for it - 24 strings.

Yeah okay, it's 12 double strings, but Davey shows off his bass skills by making the damn thing sing. Some of the higher notes sound like actual guitars! Check it out:
