Judas Priest's latest album Firepower took us by surprise as one of the band's most solid releases, especially given that many of the guys are 60-70 years old!
A new video for the track 'No Surrender' has now been released which shows Rob Halford and crew jamming in a cosy practice space interspersed with 3D graphics of the mech-warrior thing from the album's cover art. Awesome to see guitarist Glenn Tipton in the video, who recorded the album's guitars but stepped down from touring due to Parkinson's disease (he has been replaced by Andy Sneap who produced the album).
The band told Loudwire:
"'No Surrender' captures the true metal fighting spirit and metalheads around the world find a united voice within the message of this song. When you honestly believe in yourself and live your life the way you have the right to, with no surrender, then nothing will ever stop you from living your dream."
Firepower was also a commercial success, reaching number 5 on the Billboard 200 and coming close to the top in many European countries. Let us know what you thought of it!
