By the end of 2019 you've probably heard Tones and I's massive pop hit 'Dance Monkey' more times than you'd care for, but bare with us, 'cause Frog Leap Studios has worked his magic on a sweet new metal cover of the tune by the Aussie teenager!
While you might initially be rolling your eyes at the familiar melody at the start of the song, the cover gets heavier throughout in classic Frog Leap style, resulting in a pretty amazing re-imagining of the original. The cover is aided by fellow Youtubers Hannah Boulton on clean vocals and guitarist Rabea Massaad to make the whole thing a lot of fun - check it out:
'Dance Monkey' exploded Tones and I onto the global music stage this year when it went to number 1 on the charts in over 30 countries, racked up over 750 million Spotify streams and broke a bunch of Australian chart records in the process.
Despite all that, we can't help but think Leo has made it much better!
