    In some rather awesome news, Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave and Prophets Of Rage fame has signed on as the Executive Music Producer for a new metal movie reportedly coming to Netflix later in 2021.


    Not only that, but the new film is being written by none other than D.B Weiss and David Benioff, the duo responsible for the Game Of Thrones show!


    The movie is yet to have a name, but it will apparently center around two high school kids who are the only metal fans in their school, deciding they want to start a heavy metal band.


    Can't wait to see how this one turns out - it'll be interesting to see what Morello comes up with, given that he's been a vocal fan of bands like Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.

    Tom Morello previously teamed up with Fender Guitars to jam a riffy version of the Game Of Thrones theme alongside Scott Ian (Anthrax), Nuno Bittencourt (Extreme) and D.B Weiss himself - you can watch that below:
