A couple of weeks ago we posted about a new YouTube channel called Liberated Tape Archive digging up archived footage of nu-metal, emo and hardcore bands from the late 90s and 00s, and that same channel has just posted a crazy set from the almighty Slipknot in 1999!
The set was shot at Harpo's Theater in Detroit on September 10, 1999 and shows an young and intense Slipknot pummeling the crowd only a few months after the release of their self-titled record.
This was one stop of the Livin' La Vida Loco tour, which also featured Coal Chamber, Machine Head and Amen - an absolutely crazy lineup to witness in 1999!
Check out the footage for yourself:
If you're in the mood for more Slipknot, you can check out the new documentary on the band's history from BBC1 Radio, and also check out their full pro-shot Download 2019 set!
