Slipknot's masks have always played a crucial role in their image, with a different set of masks rotating in for each new album and tour cycle since their debut self-titled record in 1999.
Now, founding member Shawn "Clown" Crahan is giving fans the opportunity to create their own, with the percussionist choosing the best to join him on a live chat to show the world their creation!
A tweet from Clown went out saying:
"Take off your face. Create your own unique mask and send it to me. It can be executed from scratch, or by turning an already existing mask into your own piece of art.
I'll be highlighting my favourite ones, and some of you may be chosen to participate in a live chat with me while wearing your mask in front of the world. Get creative. Stay sic."

Masks can be submitted here; the contest is a part of Clown's new Electric Theater podcast, which has just debuted its first episode online, and it appears as though the competition will be an ongoing thing.
Clown was the initial member to introduce masks into the band, a theme which has stuck with every member to this day.
What would your mask look like?
