    Here at Maniacs, we love a good mashup, especially when it involves a completely different take on a classic heavy band like Slipknot.

    If you’re in lockdown and looking for some chilled out music to work to, look no further. YouTube mashup master William Maranci has produced this vibey Slipknot X Kid Cudi track that combines Duality and Cudi’s Day N’ Nite.  It’s blown up pretty hard on TikTok and for good reason.

    One viewer aptly described the mashup as, “When you a metalhead but your friends give you edibles and drag you to the club.”

    Another said, “I'm going to tell my grandchildren this was gorillaz.” Very accurate.

    This isn’t the first time Maranci has attempted to reimagine the masked metal icons.  Recently we published this Daft Punk X Slipknot abomination.
