Good news for Rammstein fans, as it appears you won't need to wait another decade for the next Rammstein album after all!
In an interview with the German site Motor.de, keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz said that once concerts disappeared due to COVID, the band ended up recording an album they hadn't planned on:
“The fact that we couldn’t perform live increased our creativity. We had more time to think of new things and less distraction. As a result, we recorded a record that we hadn’t planned on.”
It's only a small tidbit of news, but the band themselves confirmed that they were in the studio in October last year, so the timeline checks out, and we're here for it.
Rammstein returned in 2019 with an untitled album, which was their first since 2009's Liebe ist fr alle da. More Rammstein is never a bad thing - can't wait to hear what the guys have come up with!
Listen to Rammstein now.
