German industrial metal juggernauts Rammstein are currently taking their explosive live show to the good people of Europe, with ticketholders being treated to an overwhelming auditory and visual display that can only be described as peak Rammstein.
Ticketholder's arent the only ones being treated to the noise though, with a recent concert in Coventry, England the subject of several noise complaints from people living in towns more thank 15km away. Local tabloid the Coventry Telegraph reported receiving several online complaints of a “loud thumping noise” from residents in towns surrounding the Coventry area. Some complaints came in from as far as 17km away. The "loud thumping noise" they were complaining about has since been confirmed to be the bottom end of the industrial metaller's live show. Lucky people, even if they didn't appear to think so.
One of the world's most full-on live acts, Rammstein released their latest album Zeit earlier this year. The second single from Zeit, Zick Zack had us amped up in April thanks to a video that is nearly impossible to describe in any other way than to say it as wild and unpredictable as the band themselves.
Watch the video for Zick Zack below.
Sonically, Zick Zack makes us wish Rammstein represented Germany at this years Eurovision, with the blend of industrial metal accompanied by a deceptive earworm of a hook and a dancefloor filling bridge. Played alonside the equally wild and explorative recent single Dicke Titten, Zick Zack gives you a good idea of the might of Zeit.
Rammstein also published a teen-style Zick Zack Magazine alongside the Zick Zack single. The 32-page magazine contains stories, photos and interviews on the theme "Prettier, Bigger, Harder" as well as a reader’s letter column called The Dr Flake Botox Box, an XXL poster, six posters and 30 exclusive Rammstein stickers. All accompanied by a 2-track single CD is included with the magazine. If you want to order one of those, head here.

Last year, Rammstein gave a sneak preview of the album to an astronaut on the International Space Station.
The unusual but very cool move was made in the same month as the band's song Ich Will was chosen as the official anthem for Germany's Paralympic team.
