    Poppy has quickly risen to divisive fame within the global metal community for her uncompromising brand of genre-bending metal, and she's now taken that brand onto the global wrestling stage with a performance on WWE's 'NXT TakeOver: Portland' event!


    Rocking an outfit with massive pauldrons, Poppy performed the tracks 'Fill The Crown' and 'Anything Like Me' with her band at her side and a montage of wrestlers behind her as they played.

     

    The NXT  event is headed up by the iconic wrestler Triple H, a self-proclaimed metalhead and someome who has brought some great bands onto the show previously; Code Orange and Incendiary also previously appeared to deliver a crushing rendition of Aleister Black's entrance theme as he walked to the ring!

    Poppy also previously appeared on NXT a couple of months ago to open the show with a performance of the title track to her new album I Disagree, and is scheduled to join Deftones and Gojira on an extensive run of North American shows from July to September.
