    In a testament to just how massive the year 2000 was for heavy music, Pantera are also celebrating a 20th anniversary this year with their ninth and final album Reinventing The Steel.


    At the time, Pantera didn't forsee that this potent mix of their classic metal and heavier, extreme sound would end up becoming their swan song, but it became a perfect ending to their legendary career. 


    Our friends over at The Pit have sat down with the band's longtime bassist Rex Brown to reminisce about the album 20 years on, going through everything including the album's legacy, what made Vinnie Paul so key to the record and way more"

    Pantera are also re-releasing Reinventing The Steel for its 20th anniversary - you can pre-order it in both formats right here on the Maniacs store; the CD is out now, while the vinyl (limited to 5000 worldwide) will arrive on January 8, 2021.
