    Former Children Of Bodom vocalist Alexi Laiho has unveiled a new band called Bodom After Midnight, which features the band's former guitarist Daniel Freyberg, drummer Waltteri Vyrynen (Paradise Lost), bassist Mitja Toivonen (ex-SANTA CRUZ) and touring keyboardist Lauri Salomaa.


    The new band comes in the wake of Children Of Bodom's disbandment at the end of 2019, after three members left and Alex Laiho was not able to use the band's name without their permission.

    Bodom After Midnight have already announced shows in Finland and Germany in mid-2020, and they've posted a teaser of sorts to their new Facebook page - check it out below:

    Interestingly, the font used for the word Bodom in the band's logo has stayed the same, so there's every chance that this will pick up where Children Of Bodom left off.

    COB are one of Finland's best-selling artists of all time, having sold over 250,000 albums since their 1993 formation, so it wouldn't be surprising to see.
