New Jersey deathcore outfit Lorna Shore have dropped a brutal new cut from their upcoming third record Immortal, which is slated for a January 30 release.
Titled 'Death Portrait', the song sweeps through with explosive blast beats, evil riffs and some of the most devastating vocals we've heard come out of the genre in recent years (get a load of that last breakdown!). Check out the equally-energetic video below:
The band's drummer Austin Archey says that the song and video are representative of the same energy we'll get from the full record:
“‘Death Portrait‘ unveils the intensity and emotion we put behind this entire new record. Paired with a live video featuring footage from our first US headliner, I believe this gives the listener a proper journey through the darkness that was used to create Immortal as a whole.”
Immortal will be the first record to feature CJ McCreery on vocals, after the band's former vocalist Tom Barber left to join Chelsea Grin in 2018. Can't wait!
Listen to Lorna Shore now.
