In some bittersweet news, it appears that the partnership between Peter Tgtgren and Rammstein vocalist Till Lindemann has come to an end after two Lindemann albums.
While Tgtgren was a key part of Lindemann's output, Till will be continuing on with the name under a new setup moving forward. The official statement reads:
Till Lindemann and Peter Tgtgren end their collaboration on "Lindemann"! As Till Lindemann and Peter Tgtgren confirm today, the two artists have ended their collaboration on the project "Lindemann”. Both will be pursuing their own plans in the future.
Lindemann and Tgtgren are currently working on a final joint release, a live DVD of their show in Moscow 2020, which will be released in spring 2021. Till Lindemann will be active under the name “Lindemann" within a new set up in the future.
Both Till and Peter formed Lindemann in 2013, releasing two albums including 2015's Skills In Pills and 2019's F&M. Peter Tgtgren played almost every instrument across both of those records, while also handling the engineering, production and mixing of F&M.
Given that Lindemann is, well, Till's actual surname, it makes sense that he'll keep using the same name - what will be interesting is seeing just how different any future material will be.
Listen to Lindemann now.
