Iron Maiden's Legacy Of The Beast Australian/New Zealand tour with Killswitch Engage has officially been postponed amid coronavirus concerns.
The huge shows were scheduled to take place in May and has now been added to the endless list of live music events cancelled around the world in an attempt to stop the spread of the new COVID-19 virus.
Promoter TEG Dainty advises ticket holders to hold onto their original tickets and await further information, and refunds will be offered to those who cannot attend the new dates once they are announced.
Iron Maiden's statement on the postponement reads:
Aussie and Kiwi Troopers,
We are hugely disappointed not to be seeing our fans in Australia and New Zealand in May due to the understandable Government concert bans surrounding Coronavirus.
Sadly these are difficult and uncertain times for us all.We still intend to bring this great Legacy Of The Beast show to you all as soon as we can and I promise we will do everything we can to achieve this with our promoters and subject to what is happening around us globally.
Take care of yourselves, be safe and be smart.
Listen to Iron Maiden now.
