It always feels nice to give something back, and any Gojira fan will already be aware of their ongoing dedication toward environmental values. To honour this, Maniacs and Gojira have partnered with Carbon Neutral’s Plant-A-Tree program, and when you pre-order Gojira’s new album Fortitude via the Maniacs Store, we will plant a native tree on your behalf!
You will also receive an e-certificate to mark your dedication to helping restore habitats in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor in Western Australia. According to the Carbon Neutral website, the Plant-A-Tree intiative:
"...helps to restore an important biodiverse habitat for future generations. We plant on unproductive, degraded farmland with the aim of returning the land to its original condition and restoring the precious ecosystems within it.
Our trees are protected for 100 years by a carbon covenant and carbon right registered with the state government on the land title. This ensures the trees cannot be removed or compromised, even if the land is sold."
