At the beginning of 2019, Aussie composer Mick Gordon put an open call-out in an attempt to gather a heavy metal choir for use in the upcoming game Doom Eternal.
Now, with the game just a couple of weeks away, we've been offered a behind-the-scenes into the results of what it all led to, and it looks as though some high-profile names threw their hats into the ring including Tony Campos (Static-X, Ministry), Linzey Rae (The Anchor), Sven de Caluwe (Aborted) and the late Nature Ganganbaigal (Tengger Cavalry).
It's an inventive way of helping create a game which the developers say they want to "be a whole heavy metal experience" - check out the clip below, then keep scrolling to listen to the soundtrack in its entirety!
Doom Eternal will be released on March 20 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version arriving later in the year.
