Members of some of the world's biggest punk bands have come together to release a new charity single United Strike Back. Organised by Ukraine-born Gogol Bordello frontman Eugene Hutz, United Strike Back features the notable talents of Green Day drummer Tre Cool, Fugazi bassist Joe Lally, ex-Dead Kennedys singer Jello Biafra, Agnostic Front frontman Roger Miret, Ministry guitarist Monte Pittman, and Puzzled Panther. Sasha from the Ukrainian band Kazka also performs on the track which aims to raise money for the charity kind deeds. kind deeds provide support for Ukrainian soldiers who have lost limbs defending their homeland during the current conflict with Russia, helping them to access prosthetics.
Speaking in a statement about United Strike Back. Hutz shares “Here, living legends of punk and hardcore who always meant so much to me, come together to show their much-needed support for Ukrainian freedom fighters.”
