Good Friday just went from good to great as Corey Taylor has joined forces with Hyro the Hero on a dope new collaboration Kids Against the Monsters.
The rap-rocker and the metal icon unite in a match made in our alt-crossover dreams with Hyro the Hero dropping his usual beats and Taylor dialling in some of the vocal swagger from his solo work.
Taken from Hyro the Hero's new Kids Against the Monsters EP, which dropped today. A collaborative release from Hyro the Hero, every track features a rock or metal vocalist, with Disturbed's David Draiman and Mudvayne and Hellyeah's Chad Gray notable contributors.

Hyro the Hero is pretty hyped about the chance to work with Taylor.
"Working with Corey Taylor was incredible. When I first heard him sing the words of the chorus we created, I got chills. 'Kids Against the Monsters' is about the problems we deal with from generation to generation. This generation is trying to find peace and fix past mistakes."
Corey Taylor also delivered a biting guest vocal on the new Ho99O9 single Bite My Face. Produced by Blink 182's Travis Barker, Bite My Face is lifted off of Ho99O9 (Horror) second full-length, Skin which just dropped. A genre-hopping jam with energy unto its own, Bite My Face sounds like the future of heavy music.

Taylor has been seriously busy of late, releasing a new solo EP, gearing up for a new Slipknot album and engaging in a seemingly endless feud with fellow Travis Barker collaborator MGK.
