The new dates will see The World Is A Vampire Festival hit Brisbane's Eaton Hill Hotel on April 15th and Sydney's Horden Pavillion on April 19th. The show planned for Hastings on the Mornington Peninsula has been moved to PICA in Port Melbourne on April 22nd. That venue switch was made due to a change in council policy, which has left the event uninsurable. Patrons with tickets for the Hastings date have been assured those tickets will be valid at the Port Melbourne date on the 22nd of April, with no action required to be taken.

Alt-rock legends The Smashing Pumpkins have announced that they're bringing they're curated The World Is A Vampire Festival to Australia later this year.
Featuring The Smashing Pumpkins, fellow '90s icons Jane's Addiction and killer Aussie talent including Amyl & the Sniffers, RedHook, Battlesnake and more, The World Is A Vampire Festival will hit 10 Australian cities throughout April.
In addition to the music, each date on the festival will feature live professional wrestling, with wrestlers from the Billy Corgan-owned NWA (National Wrestling Alliance) doing battle with wrestlers from the WAOA (Wrestling Alliance of Australia).
