French metal titans Gojira shocked the world over the weekend, teaming up with opera singer Marina Viotti for an unforgettable performance at the 2024 Olympic Opening Ceremony in Paris. The formidable quartet from Ondres, Landes and Viotti performed a punishing rendition of the French Revolutionary anthem Ah! Ça Ira, outside of Conciergerie Palace. In a new interview,singer-guitarist Joe Duplantier has reflected on the instantly iconic moment and revealed how it all came together in the first place.
- New Jersey rock outfit The Front Bottoms will return to Australia in April for the first time since 2017 in support of their acclaimed new full-length 'You Are Who You Hang Out With'. Ahead of the tour, we caught up with vocalist/guitarist Brian Sella.

Ahead of the tour, we caught up for a chat with frontman Chad Gray who hinted that this may be the last time we see Mudvayne in Australia and opened up on a range of topics including the current state of his childhood icons Motley Crue, the problem with modern heavy music, the nu-metal explosion and the Mudvayne songs that he holds closest to his heart.
- SVALBARD have announced their debut Australian tour. The beloved Bristol (UK) metallers will bring their unique blend of dynamic metal soundscapes to rooms in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in May. They will be accompanied on all dates by similarly inclined Melbourne 'blackened post-metalcore' crew RUN.
- Former Slayer guitarist Kerry King has given a brutal response to a journalist who questioned him about his relationship with his ex-bandmate Dave Lombardo, stating that "Lombardo is dead to me".
- Kerry King hasn't spoken to his former Slayer bandmate Tom Araya since the band walked off stage for the final time in November 2019. That's the biggest news from a new interview King did with Rolling Stone promoting his solo project.
