    Slipknot's brand new song 'Unsainted' has only been out for a couple of days, but leave it to Trivium frontman Matt Heafy to get his creative claws into it and twist it into a new cover!

    Heafy performed the acoustic rendition of the song on one of his many frequent livestream sessions, and it's actually pretty decent for something that was knocked up in under 48 hours.

    It's got a completely different feel to the original, but it still somehow works! Check it out below:

    Slipknot's new album We Are Not Your Kind is out on August 9, and you can pre-order it in a variety of bundles through the Maniacs webstore.

    Trivium also just released a new B-side from their latest album The Sin And The Sentence which you can go and check out here!
