Two of the '00s biggest metal acts have come together for a memorable performance in Orlando. Welsh metallers Bullet For My Valentine were joined onstage over the weekend by Trivium frontman Matt Heafy for a live rendition of Bullet For My Valentine's megahit Tears Don't Fall.
Watch the full performance below.
Tears Don't Fall appears on Bullet For My Valentine's beloved full-length debut The Poison. With over 300 million plays on Spotify alone, it is amongst the bands best known and celebrated cuts.
The band will be in Australia next month performing on the massive Good Things Festival.
The two bands are long-time friends and the epic collaboration closed the loop on an acoustic cover that Heafy posted of the track back in 2019.
Heafy's guest appearance is further proof that the man does not sleep, and follows a recent live union between himself and Megadeth.
Trivium and Megadeath were among the major drawcards on the inaugural Knotfest Australia run.
Heafy's appearance with Megadeth, after his own band's headline set is yet another example of his seemingly infinite energy levels. Those infamous energy levels are matched only by his boundless creativity which has seen him release several solo offerings, the debut full-length from Ibaraki, his black metal project with Emperor's Ihsahn, a digital EP consisting of five acoustic reimaginings of songs off of Trivium's 10th studio album, In The Court Of The Dragon as well as guest on numerous other artists records in the space of the last year alone.
This is in addition to being one of the most active and followed streamers in metal. Trivium's most recent release is a cover of Heaven Shall Burn's Whatever It May Take rager Implore The Darken Sky which was released in February.
