Well that was quick - Slipknot's heavy new single 'Solway Firth' has only been out for a couple of days, but Trivium frontman Matt Heafy has already taken it upon himself to give an acoustic rendition of the song for the internet to hear.
It's a pretty solid translation for only having had a day or two to work it out; check it out for yourself below:
Heafy also did the same thing for the first single from Slipknot's forthcoming album, 'Unsainted', which is definitely worth checking out.
The new Slipknot record We Are Not Your Kind drops on August 9, which is only just over two weeks away now.
As for Trivium, they haven't announced any news regarding a large release, but they recently did put out a cover of Type O Negative's 'I Don't Wanna Be Me', and re-release a new recording of their 2003 song 'Pillars Of Serpents'!
Listen to Trivium now.
