Trivium frontman Matt Heafy has clearly been spending some of his rare downtimes, watching Season two of The Witcher. The icon of modern metal and Twitch streaming god has uploaded a cover of Burn Butcher Burn a song from the series. Heafy's rendition is a bit of a showcase for his vocal tonality and sees him drifting in and out of regions of his voice that are rarely explored on Trivium tunes.

Heafy, who has signed a solo record deal with longtime Trivium home, Roadrunner Records,  is clearly quite the fan of the Netflix series, having previously covered Toss A Coin To Your Witcher from season one of the show. You can watch that cover below. 

Trivium released their 10th full-length album In The Court Of The Dragon in October.  We spoke to bass player Paulo Gregoletto about making the album and he filled us in on everything else that had been going on in the Trivium camp in 2021.
