Welcome to Rockville in Jacksonville, Florida is the gift that keeps on giving right now; just yesterday we were treated to the debut of two new Tool songs (finally), and now we have this excellent footage of a sign language interpreter giving hearing-impaired fans a real show during Killswitch Engage's set too!
It was the band's vocalist Jesse Leach who shared the fan-shot footage to Instagram with the following caption:
"This moves me, seeing my lyrics especially these particular lyrics signed.... I am honored and at the moment overwhelmed. I hope this message reaches as many people as it can. Those who suffer from a mental illness, those who know all to well the extremes of the mind, the helplessness and the empowerment that can accompany all of it. It’s chaos, it’s beautiful it’s gut wrenching. AGAIN honored to see this!SHE IS KILLING IT!!! Thank you to this woman for helping spread the message of the music."
Check out the footage of her signing to their song 'Strength Of Mind' below:
Reminds us of this other badass interpreter who put everything into translating a Lamb Of God performance too.
Killswitch Engage's new album is currently being wrapped up and is scheduled for a release before the end of 2019.
