Former Killswitch Engage bandmates Adam Dutkiewicz and Howard Jones are working on a new project together. Jones shared some posts on Instagram containing photos of the two together confirming that they are in the demo stage of a new project. This news has predictably sent Killswitch Engage fans into a bit of a spin.
Jones who fronts Light The Torch and SION was the lead vocalist for Killswitch Engage between 2002 - 2012 before being replaced by returning frontman Jesse Leach. The as-yet-unnamed new project confirms that Jones and his former Killswitch Engage bandmates are on good terms and follow his appearance on their 2019 record Atonement and increasingly frequent live guest spots.
Jones's time in Killswitch Engage yielded three full-length albums including the breakout release The End Of Heartache, As Daylight Dies and Killswitch Engage. Whether this new collaboration between Jones and Dutkiewicz will be stylistically similar to those records remains to be seen, but for fans of the pair, there's probably never been a better time to take a trip down memory lane and revisit the Howard Jones era of Killswitch Engage.
