    Lamb Of God - One Armed Drum Cover - Jack Thomas

    We love a good drum cover at Maniacs and this crushing cover of Lamb Of God's Laid To Rest from YouTuber Jack Thomas might just be our favourite so far.

    Left with only one arm, after his right arm was torn off at the elbow by a conveyor belt at a recycling plant in 2015,  the 24-year-musician, audio engineer, music producer, and motivational speaker, has had to relearn how to play the drums and bass.

    His cover of Laid To Rest shows that he definitely has the drumming part figured out. 

    Clearly a talented and incredibly resilient guy, Thomas has bounced back from his harrowing incident, establishing himself as an award-winning audio engineer and a motivational speaker for BC WorkSafe, while also playing in multiple bands in the heavy genre space. You can watch a video of one of his original projects, the metal band Burn Away below.

    Laid to Rest appears on Lamb Of God's iconic 2004 record Ashes Of The Wake.
