The surviving members of Power Trip have reunited onstage for a five-song set.
The performance took place at a show by Fugitive whose membership includes former Power Trip guitarist Blake Ibanez.
Fugitive's headlining set in Austin, Texas, was immediately followed by the surprise Power Trip reunion with Ibanez joined by fellow Power Trip members Nick Stewart, Chris Whetzel, and Chris Ulsh for the short set.
Fugitive vocalist Seth Gilmore filled the role of vocalist left vacant by the passing of Power Trip frontman Riley Gale in 2020.
Song's performed were: Soul Sacrifice, Executioner's Tax (Swing Of The Axe), Hornet's Nest, Manifest Decimation, Crucifixation.

Power Trip formed in 2008, releasing two full length albums to date. 2017's Nightmare Logic received critical acclaim for mastering old-school thrash metal in a modern format, while Riley Gale was renowned for his incredible energy during live performances.
The band released Live In Seattle earlier this year.
There is now word on whether they intend to reunite again the future with Gilmore in Gales place or if this was a once off.
