Metallica and Slipknot are set to be touring together in Australia/NZ throughout October and November, but it won't be the first time both bands have played together; the two crossed paths back in 2004 when Slipknot opened for Metallica on the second leg of their European tour as well.
During the final show of said leg, Metallica surprised everyone by donning their own masks and running on stage to do some ridiculous dances while Slipknot played 'Spit It Out' to a stadium full of people!
