Deathcore veterans Carnifex have unveiled the title track from their upcoming seventh studio album World War X, complete with a grim music video directed by the band's frontman Scott Lewis.
The song takes a more blackened approach for the band, driven by flawlessly precise instrumentation and raw power from Lewis' voice, but there are still plenty of bone-crushing breakdowns to please any Carnifex fan.
Check out the video below, which follows a soldier grappling with PTSD:
'World War X' follows the band's latest single 'No Light Shall Save Us', which features Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz and an ultra-cinematic music video to boot.
The new record comes out on August 2, kicking off a hectic month of releases which include new albums from Tool, Northlane and Killswitch Engage to name just a few!
