Metalcore veterans Atreyu released their seventh album In Our Wake in late 2018, and they've just debuted a very sci-fi influenced music video for its second track 'House Of Gold' which you can watch below.
In between shots of the band playing on floating podiums, there are scenes which look like they've been shot on Tattooine from Star Wars, and there's also a mysterious cloaked figure which is shown running along some kind of light tunnel.
It's definitely a departure from your run-of-the-mill music video, and it kind of works with the song's soaring chorus as well. Check it out:
Atreyu made headlines around the time of the album's release after frontman Alex Varkatzas claimed that the band invented metalcore when they formed in 1998. While we don't think that's entirely accurate, you can't deny that they've put out some bangers in their time!
Listen to Atreyu now.
