Vended have released the scorching new single Am I The Only One. An unrelenting rager, Am I The Only One picks up where the previous single Ded To Me left off, blending rad riffs, pounding rhythms and caustic vocals.
Arguably the most accomplished Vended Am I The Only One showcases the emerging metallers' considerable, and still growing talents.
Griffin Taylor's voice is eerily reminiscent of his father, Corey Taylor's, but much like Ded To Me, Am I The Only One displays a definitive desire to be a frontman in his own right, just as Simon Crahan's blistering drumming throughout shows that he is a different type of percussionist to his dad, Corey's Slipknot bandmate Shawn 'Clown' Crahan.

Am I The Only One and Ded To Me follow Vended's debut EP What Is It//Kill It which was released last year.
Griffin Taylor has performed with his old man several times live, prior to launching his own career with Vended.

In a recent interview with Andy Hall of Iowa radio station Lazer 103.3, Corey spoke of being proud of Griffin's continued development as an artist and fearless pursuit of his own musical dreams. "I cannot tell you how proud I am of that boy. And, of course, being a typical Taylor, on one hand, I'm super proud of him, but I still can't get him to clean anything, dude; he's just such a nightmare." "The funny thing is you and I were talking the day after he was born. And I keep going back to that night, going, 'What's he gonna be? Who's he gonna be in life?' And now 20 years later, almost 21, and he is this crazy metal pirate, just like I was," Corey continued. "And I'm just, like, 'Oh, I failed as a father. What did I do?' I kept trying to push him to be anything other than what I do. And, yeah, dude, he's crushing."
Recently announced as one of the major drawing cards on the 2023 edition of the Good Things Festival, Corey will keep the party firing on all cylinders, bringing his solo adventures to Australia alongside his brand-new album CMF2. Set for release on September 15th via Decibel Cooper/BMG, CMF2 is available for pre-order now here. CMF2 will be the sequel to Taylor's 2020 solo debut CMFT and follow-up B-sides collection CMFB...Sides.
Last month Taylor released a blistering new solo single Post Traumatic Blues. The second taste of his forthcoming second solo release CMF2, Post Traumatic Blues is a far heavier outing than lead single Beyond, with the iconic voice behind Slipknot and Stone Sour exorcising some demons. ‘Post Traumatic Blues’ is my attempt to describe for people what it’s like to deal with PTSD,” says Taylor. “Sometimes it’s so hard for people to understand the ups and downs, the severity of the cold and numbness, that I wanted to try and build a bridge lyrically between the ones living with the disease and the ones who are trying to help them.”
