An extremely rare track called 'Cintro' from rap metal veterans (hed)p.e. has recently appeared online, after spending the last 23 years floating around exclusively on advance cassette copies of their 1997 debut self-titled album.
The song was apparently cut from the final record by their label at the time, Jive Records, for its lyrical content which was deemed too anti-religious.
'Cintro' is devoid of guitar riffs, instead leaning more on the band's hard-hitting underground rap vibe instead. Have a listen below:
(hed)p.e. have since put out another ten full length albums, their latest being last year's Stampede. Vocalist Jared Gomes is the only remaining original member.
The band also toured Australia last year together with fellow nu-metal stalwarts Nonpoint.
Listen to (hed)p.e. now.
