It's Christmas season, so we expected Michael Bublé's name to be showing up around the place - but Bublé and Deftones in the same sentence? Not in a million years!
As it turns out, the jazzy crooner is a bit of a Deftones fan himself, after he posted a photo of himself to his Instagram story jumping for joy while sporting his new Deftones merch, also mentioning how much he loves their new record Ohms!
The story was quickly spread around the internet by stoked and bewildered fans, and it also copped a few reposts by Deftones themselves:
Of course, it's not unheard of for celebrities to be into heavy bands, with the likes of Bill Burr, Margot Robbie, Stephen King, Demi Lovato and Jim Carrey having previously touted their love for metal, but it's a nice surprise when it's someone who comes from almost the total opposite end of the musical spectrum.
Wonder if he'll be checking out Black Stallion once it drops on December 11?
