    Matt Heafy, the frontman of the American metal band Triviumhas taken to his Twitter account to reveal the latest news about the band’s upcoming album:

    The fictional album title is a Spinal Tap reference andfans seem to be embracing the band’s dramatic change in direction. AShark Sandwich page has sprung up and Twitter user @arpege3has put together some album artwork in response:

    We can’t wait to hear the country metal infusion that isShark Sandwich.It has been saidto fall under the genre of “Indiedubcountrystepcore”.

    Sharks and sandwiches aside, the band’s new album,Trivium VI,will be produced by David Draiman(Disturbed/Device). He recently posted anupdatefrom the studio, revealing that the mixes of the “epic record” are nearly complete.
