blink-182 have announced that Tom DeLonge has officially reunited with the band and that new music and an Australian tour are both on the way.

The iconic lineup of DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker announced their reunion in trademark style, using a video filled with 'cum' puns to announce that they will indeed be coming to a town near you, soon as part of a global tour. The video also features a snippet of the new single Edging which will be officially released on October 14th.

To the delight of pop-punks nationwide, the global tour will make its way to Australia, with the band confirming a national arena run for February 2024. They'll be supported on the Aussie tour by Chicago hardcore punks turned rock radio staples Rise Against.

The Australian tour will see them kick things off in Perth on February 9th, making stops in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. LiveNation have confirmed that tickets for the Australian run will go onsale on Thursday, October 20th at 1pm via the LiveNation website. A series of pre-sales will also be held, with a blink-182 fan club pre-sale commencing at 12pm on Thursday, October 13th, and running until 12pm on Wednesday, October 19th and a LiveNation pre-sale and a Spotify pre-sale both running from 1pm on Wednesday, October 19th, concluding at 12pm on Thursday, October 20th.

Since their humble beginnings nearly thirty years ago, when they started playing in a San Diego garage, blink-182 have sold over fifty-million albums worldwide and rocked audiences from Adelaide to Zurich having become one of the defining rock bands of their generation. According to The New York Times, "No punk band of the 1990s has been more influential than blink-182.”  While blink-182 have already racked up more than their fair share of platinum records and blockbuster singles, they are looking forward to their 10th studio album.  With Delonge back after nearly a decade fan can expect that electric on stage magic that the trio has delivered over the years. With their new album due in 2023, blink-182 is stoked to be facing their future together.
