In a recent interview, Slipknots Shaun 'Clown' Crahan spoke briefly on his encounter with one of their most dedicated fans. Ahead of their new concert movie, Day Of The Gusano, Clown told AltPress “I met some people that sold their car to get tickets for their whole family. That’s insane to me – to sell a vehicle for the idea of rock’n’roll, for a band called Slipknot."
Crahan has previously spoken on how he hasn't always felt as strongly about the band himself. Though this has since changed as the years went by, it baffled him that him that a fan would go to such lengths for something he was a part of.
Clown went on to say that “I started feeling like we’ve been chosen. It would have been impossible for us not to be who we are. When that light bulb went off, I couldn’t believe how far we’d come. Slipknot is important to the world."
Day of The Gusano will screen in over 1000 cinemas across the globe from September 6th. The film, directed by Crahan himself, will show exclusive footage from their first show in Mexico at Knotfest 2015 as well as some intimate behind the scenes footage.
