Slipknot have given us maggots a rather unexpected, high-definition gift over the weekend, uploading HD versions of nearly their entire video back catalogue to YouTube.
The Iowa metal icons have made the iconic visuals for ten songs, all of which pre-date the HD era. The songs given the HD treatment are Wait and Bleed, Spit It Out, Left Behind, Duality, Before I Forget, Vermillion, Vermillion, Pt. 2, Psychosocial, Sulfur, and Snuff, with the HD remastering giving many of the clips an even more sinister edge.

At Maniacs we feel the HD treatment really brings Left Behind to life.
As any self-respecting maggot would know Slipknot are gearing up to release their seventh studio album The End, So Far on September 30th. Recently the band shared the M.Shawn 'Clown' Crahan-directed video for the recent single Yen.
The band shared the lead single The Dying Song (Time Sing) in July. Like, Yen, The Dying Song (Time To Sing) was also accompanied by a video directed by the band's own multi-disciplinary artist M. Shawn 'Clown' Crahan. Speaking on The Dying Song (Time To Sing) Crahan reveals
“New Music, new art, and new beginnings. Get ready for the end."
The Dying Song (Time To Sing) followed the single The Chapeltown Rag as our second taste of The End, So Far with both tracks touching on different sides of the Slipknot soundscape.
Slipknot have unveiled limited-edition band member CDs of The End So, Far. The nine different CD offerings each depict a different member on the cover and all of them are available for pre-order now via the Maniacs store.
