
Sepultura's beast of a drummer Eloy Casagrande has been on a tear lately with an insane cover of Metallica's 'Battery', and now he's also pulled off an absolute masterclass with a stab at Slipknot's classic 'The Heretic Anthem' too!
If you're yet to witness Eloy in action, this guy is one of the hardest-hitting drummers out there, but still with a crazy amount of technique and speed making him an absolute joy to watch.
At the start of this particular cover, he explains an AI app he's using called Moises, which allows him to separate instruments on any song and remove the drums entirely so that he can record his own drums over the top.
With that in mind, his performance of the Slipknot tune sounds perfect, and we can only imagine Joey Jordison would watch this with immense pride. To skip his intro about Moises, head to 1:53 in the video below:
