Anthony Vincent is back doing what he does best, making unlikely sonic bedfellows out of artists from opposite sides of the musical spectrum. In his latest upload, Vincent turns rock/funk legends Red Hot Chili Peppers' 2006 hit Dani California into an early '00s style Disturbed rager. Vincent absolutely nails David Draiman's delivery while maintaining elements of the RHCP track's melodic structure and funky bones.
It's the latest in a string of incredible uploads from Vincent who has recently applied his unique interpretive abilities to everything from Queen's Another One Bites The Dust in the style of Chris Cornell to Eminem's Lose Yourself in the style of Linkin Park and Aerosmith's Dude Looks Like A Lady in the style of Disturbed which you can watch below.
Both the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Disturbed released new music last year, with RHCP unleashing two new records in the space of six months Return of the Dream Canteen and Unlimited Love and Disturbed unleashing Divisive. Divisive is one of a select number of limited-edition vinyl offerings currently on sale at a decent discount at Maniacs as part of our annual sale.
