Remember Linkin Park and Jay-Z's iconic 2004 Collision Course mashup? It was a much simpler time, and it might have been the last time metalheads and hip-hop heads came together in unison en masse.
But now, courtesy of YouTube's mashup master William Maranci, we have Metallica and Kanye West coming together in 'Lightning In Paris' - using the music of Metallica's 'Ride The Lightning' and dropping Kanye's bars from 'Ni**as In Paris' over it is something that totally could have been another Collision Course release in an alternative universe, especially with Jay-Z also on Kanye's original.
Check it out below, and see if you hate it as much as you think you will:
William Maranci has been steadily building a following on YouTube with tons of different mashups - some of our favourites include the surprisingly good combo of Deftones and Britney Spears, and DragonForce with The Weeknd!
