Our favourite Indian folk metal band Bloodywood have returned with a huge new single called 'Machi Bassad (Expect a Riot)', which expertly combines heavy guitars and aggressive vocals with traditional Indian folk sounds.
As always, it comes with an excellent music video, where the band perform in a desert-based Indian village surrounded by villagers dancing and singing along.
At the end of the video, they reveal that the track was actually written for the video game company Ubisoft for their upcoming game Beyond Good and Evil 2, but they didn't like it - so they made a music video fore it and put it out anyway! Check it out:
Bloodywood's rapper Raoul has now been made a permanent member of the band, so you can expect to see footage of him ripping it up on stage as they go on their European Raj Against The Machine tour (amazing name) including a Wacken Open Air appearance! These guys totally deserve it.
Listen to Bloodywood now.
