With a ridiculous amount of amazing new music slated for release in 2019, it seems like the list just keeps on growing too; the legendary British grindcore band Napalm Death have confirmed that they will "definitely" be releasing a new album at some point this year!
In an interview with the French station No Name Radio, vocalist Barney Greenway confirmed the news:
"It will definitely be [2019]. It could be any time [in 2019], just because we've been away so much touring. We did plan to have it [in 2018], but it hasn't worked out that way, because you kind of need to be at home for a while, and we haven't really been. But it doesn't matter, because people still want us to go and play, so the album can wait. It's not essential right now. Of course, we'd love to have it now, but if it doesn't work out that way, then that's the way it goes."
Napalm Death's last album Apex Predator - Easy Meat was released back in 2015, marking their 16th full length record since they formed in 1981. The band also recently completed a South American tour with Cannibal Corpse.
