A couple of weeks back, we shared Ruslan Mayshev's YouTube channel dedicated to playing metal on the streets of Russia and filming everyone's reactions around him.
In this edition, Ruslan does the good lord's work by strapping on his portable amp and playing Slipknot for those who care (or don't) to listen. It's actually pretty wholesome to see young kids swarm around him and dance to 'Psychosocial', and it seems one or two bystanders actually know what he's playing too!
If you think it's a bit of a cop-out to play the boppy 'Psychosocial' though, don't fret because he also gives the much less accessible Iowa track 'My Plague' a spin on the streets - check it out (skip to 0:55 to jump past the Russian intro):
Obviously this was shot during a time before social distancing was a thing, but good on Ruslan for bringing joy to strangers with Slipknot tunes.
The guy has also done a bunch of public guitar covers too, which is a pretty refreshing take on the format - watch him slay Make Them Suffer's recent track 'Erase Me'!
