Black metal's most infamous band Mayhem are set to release their new record Daemon on October 25, and they've revealed one last single before it comes out called 'Falsified and Hated'.


The release comes right after the revelation that bassist Necrobutcher came forward to say that he too was on the way to murder the band's guitarist Euronymous, before finding out that Varg Vikernes had already done the deed himself.


Suspicious timing to admit something so controversial right around the time of a new record, but it's a pretty interesting twist to the story nonetheless.
